App Resume Behaviour - We have changed the behaviour on the dashboard when a user returns to the app from the background to show a loading indicator on the lights that it doesn't have accurate information about.The Welcome Screens (Login and Register) screens have been updated with a new look and feel.The App launcher icon now uses the new Adaptive Icons feature in Android 8.0We've also fixed a range of bugs relating to Dashboard display, Day & Dusk Off transitions
Turning on the Day Dusk feature will now start the transition straight away.Touching the Day Dusk graph will allow you to preview the Day Dusk transition directly on your lights.Day Dusk Evening to Night Light transition has been refined so they lights won't get darker until closer to the Night Light segment begins.There are now status indicators when you look at lights in a group with Day Dusk enabled.Fixed bugs with claiming and permissions.
We've been improving the effects to support the LIFX Z better, simplified the Color Cycle effect so it easier to use and added some extra settings to some of the effects. Improvements to the Music Visualiser effect will be coming soon, we agree it needs work. We've fixed a range of bugs on the control screens and fixed up an issue with White 800 onboarding.
We've changed the onboarding flow for to improve the reliability of connecting your lights to your network. The New lights section has been removed from the dashboard, so use the + button, then Connect Light to trigger this.We've added 24 hour display option for schedules (set in the devices Settings > Date & Time menu)Also a range of bug fixes (strobe effect trigger, registration error messages, dashboard scroll state, Samsung LAN connectivity)Japanese language support has also been added.
